Royal Caribbean is redefining the cruise experience once again with the introduction of its latest groundbreaking ship, Legend of the Seas. As the third Icon Class vacation, this highly anticipated addition is set to make its mark, offering an unparalleled mix of adventure, relaxation, and entertainment.

Beginning in July 2026, Legend of the Seas will debut in the Western Mediterranean, sailing from Barcelona on unforgettable seven-night journeys. Following an exciting European season, the ship will set course for Fort Lauderdale, Florida, in November 2026, where it will embark on year-round Caribbean adventures, including visits to Royal Caribbean’s award-winning private destination, Perfect Day at CocoCay.

An Unrivaled Adventure Across Continents

Travelers aboard the third Icon Class vacation will experience a dynamic range of destinations. During the summer months, the ship will sail to iconic European hotspots, including France, Italy, and Spain, where guests can explore rich cultures, historic landmarks, and sun-drenched beaches. As winter approaches, Legend of the Seas will head to the Caribbean, offering six-night Western and eight-night Southern Caribbean itineraries.

From the vibrant streets of Willemstad, Curaçao, to the turquoise waters of Aruba and the scenic beaches of Falmouth, Jamaica, guests will have the opportunity to experience some of the world’s most breathtaking locales. Every itinerary will also include a stop at the exclusive Perfect Day at CocoCay, ensuring an unforgettable escape filled with adventure and relaxation.

A Cruise Experience Like No Other

Legend of the Seas builds upon the revolutionary innovations of its predecessors, Icon of the Seas and Star of the Seas. The third Icon Class vacation will feature eight distinct neighborhoods, each designed to offer unique experiences tailored to every traveler. Guests can explore adrenaline-pumping attractions like Crown’s Edge, a heart-racing combination of skywalk, ropes course, and thrill ride, or take on the largest waterpark at sea, Category 6.

For those seeking relaxation, the ship offers seven pools catering to every mood, including the expansive Royal Bay, the lively swim-up bar Swim & Tonic, and the serene, adults-only Hideaway with its suspended infinity pool. Families can bond at Surfside, a specially designed neighborhood for young families, featuring exciting activities and accommodations like the three-story Ultimate Family Townhouse.

Sailing Toward the Future

Continuing Royal Caribbean’s commitment to sustainability, Legend of the Seas will be the company’s fourth ship powered by liquefied natural gas (LNG). This next-generation vessel will integrate advanced environmental initiatives, including waste heat recovery systems and shore power connection, playing a vital role in Royal Caribbean Group’s mission to introduce a net-zero cruise ship by 2035. With cutting-edge technology and industry-leading innovations, the third Icon Class vacation promises to deliver an extraordinary experience while paving the way for a more sustainable future in cruising.
