MSC Cruises just announced that it is meeting the growing demand for wellness cruises by the introduction of a Wellness Experience. This new approach in cruising is being done in collaboration with Technogym, the leading wellness company in the world.
MSC Cruises, which is based out of Switzerland, is also the world’s biggest privately owned cruise line and provider. The company is a market leader in the European, South American and South African cruise market. The new wellness experience is being offered to provide a personalized experience that allows passengers to combine their personal wellness objectives with culture and discovery. Therefore, guests will not only be able to visit exciting destinations, but they will also partake in activities that are good for the body and soul.

The wellness program being designed by MSC Cruises is meant to offer cutting-edge technology and state-of-the-art fitness facilities, along with co-created beverage and food offerings. Master trainers, certified by Technogym, will also be onboard for fitness and exercise evaluations and activities. The MSC Cruises Wellness is a cruise that is specially designed for people who want to improve their sporting performance, and feel and look better too.
Certified master trainers will conduct fitness and wellness assessments using such tools as a body scale analyzer in combination with a comprehensive consultation. This assessment will be used to establish the goals for each guest who wants to work toward and realize specific wellness goals. Guests will also receive health check-ups performed by an MSC ship physician.
The MSC cruise ship experience provides the needed backdrop to inspire guests to become more active and reach their wellness objectives. Breathtaking sea views and elegant and modern facilities help guests better enjoy indoor and outdoor exercise, whether it be swimming or working out in the ship’s scenic gym. The mywellness app will monitor the movement of its users and assign the cruise guests a daily movement target. The app also includes information on personalized training programs that will be featured on the Wellness Experience itinerary.
