The Carnival Inspiration will definitely live up to its name after it undergoes a massive renovation of its bar and dining options, starting January 18, 2016. After completion of the dry dock refurbishment on February 5, 2016, the ship will continue its regular itinerary of taking guests on Baja cruises from its home port of Long Beach, California.
Ship travelers will enjoy a number of eating and bar options that will make each 3 or 4-day journey all the more enjoyable. For example, the Carnival Inspiration refurbishment will include the addition of Guy’s Burger Joint, which will offer poolside cuisine in the form of hand-made burgers and fries. The poolside restaurant is the result of a partnership with personality Guy Fieri of the Food Network.
Also, guests will enjoy Mexican foods in the new Blue Iguana Cantina, also a poolside eatery. Patrons will be able to savor such Mexican specialties as tortillas and burritos and a variety of toppings. The Red Frog Rum bar, a Caribbean-based poolside bar, will serve rum-based drinks as well as the cruise line’s private label beer, the Thirsty Frog Red.
Guests can also whet their whistle at the Alchemy Bar, whose unique décor is based on a pharmacy theme. Mixologists (bartenders) will prescribe various “potions,” such as the Restorative Basil Drop and the Forty is the New Twenty drink creations.
