Beginning in 2019, Carnival cruise guests can enjoy one of 17 new sailing trips to Cuba. Trips will depart from Miami – highlighting several adventurous itineraries. For example, a five-day journey to Cuba includes a visit to Havana as well as stops at such ports as Grand Cayman, Nassau, and Grand Turk. Visitors can also enjoy cruise stops at the company’s private islands, Princess Cays and Half Moon Cay.
In fact, four five-day adventures are scheduled to Havana and Grand Turk, beginning on May 20. The other sailings are scheduled for September 9, November 18, and December 16, 2019. Five-day cruises are also slated to stop in Havana, Nassau, and Half Moon Cay, with the first one departing on June 17, 2019. One five-day cruise journey is planned to Havana, Nassau, and Princess Cays on April 22, 2019.

The cruise line has also planned new Carnival cruises to Cuba that will take place over the course of seven days. Passengers will stop in Havana and Grand Cayman. Ship departures are scheduled for seven seven-day journeys. The first one will leave Miami on May 6, 2019 while the last scheduled journey departs on December 2, 2019.
Last year, the Carnival Sensation underwent a major multi-dollar renovation. New food and beverage venues were added for the Carnival cruises to Cuba including such eateries as Guy’s Burger Joint, the RedFrog Rum Bar, and the BlueIguana Cantina. Many of the new pubs and restaurants feature poolside services and amenities.

Some of the other popular additions include a WaterWorks aqua park, a Serenity retreat for adults, and Seuss at Sea programmed activities. Moreover, guests who schedule Carnival cruises to Cuba can take part in one or more of almost 20 shore excursions – experiences that highlight the Cuba’s landscape, landmarks, and culture.
Cuban-themed activities include salsa lessons, trivia competitions, and deck parties. Interested cruise-goers are encouraged to contact a travel agent or Carnival for more details about the journeys.
