Are you looking for a crazy-fun trip that unites the whole family? Then book an exciting, memorable European holiday with Royal Caribbean’s massive new ship, the Symphony of the Seas. She features a number of attractions and balcony staterooms with ocean views that are sure to please the whole family, and is scheduled to launch on her debut trip in April 2018.
The ship’s Boardwalk, a neighborhood featuring a hub of activity, provides a wide range of dining options and activities:
The Boardwalk is home to several great restaurants like the Playmakers Sports Bar & Arcade, which is the perfect place for someone to kick back and enjoy a sports game, order a burger or wings with beer, and then have fun playing arcade games. The arcade includes popular diversions such as Ice Skee-Ball and the Star Wars Battle Pod.
If you want to satisfy your sweet tooth, look no farther than Sugar Beach, the ship’s candy and ice-cream shop. It’s located right across from Playmakers and is the ideal spot to give into your all your sweet cravings. Both parents and kids can enjoy an array of ice cream flavors, toppings, and candies. The shop also offers baking activities fun for the whole family.
If you want a meal that’ll allow you to travel back in time to the 50s, stop by the famous Johnny Rockets, a restaurant that allows diners on the Symphony of the Seas to enjoy 50s entertainment and music while savoring delicious fries and milkshakes. Other great dining venues on the Symphony of the Seas include Wonderland Imaginative Cuisine, 150 Central Park, and Jamie’s Italian by Jamie Oliver.
Everyone will be sure to love the Ultimate Abyss, the tallest slide at sea, which propels users to the middle of the Boardwalk. The AquaTheater will also attract the whole family with its aquatic acrobatic shows featuring aerial performances from an extra high diving board.
For vacationers who seek a little extra room and comfort, the Symphony of the Seas offers the Ultimate Family Suite—a two-level accommodation that features a 3D cinematic-type television room with a popcorn maker and a video game library. This ultra-family suite comes with a balcony that wraps around the accommodation as well as a whirlpool that offers unparalleled views of the sea. Guests of the suite can indulge in all the upscale amenities that are reserved for Royal Suite Class cruise guests of the Royal Caribbean.
