According to a recent news report out of Geneva Switzerland, privately-owned MSC Cruises just announced that it will be taking bookings for the MSC Bellissima – the long-awaited second-generation ship of the Meraviglia cruise mega-vessels. The inaugural sailing of the ship is scheduled for March 2019. At that time, the massive sea vessel will visit ports in the Western Mediterranean.
The first sales will be offered exclusively to members of the MSC Voyagers Club. Following that, tickets will go on sale on May 15, 2017 for other passengers. Future passengers are in for a treat, as onboard entertainment on the MSC Bellissima will feature two Cirque du Soleil at Sea shows. Two performances will be scheduled six nights per week in the Carousel Lounge.
Guests at these events will be able to savor the cuisine at a pre-show dinner. Plus, guests who book passage by July 31, 2017 will receive one of the Cirque du Soleil dinner and show experiences as part of their booking package.
Some highlights of the MSC Bellissima include an array of both casual and fine dining choices, with ten different venues from which to choose. Each of the restaurants notably serve the best in authentic cuisine. In addition, guests will be able to stroll across a Mediterranean-designed promenade featuring a large LED sky screen – noted as the longest at sea. The promenade will serve as a major hub for passengers seeking dining, shopping, and entertainment.
Another highlight of the ship will be MSC for Me technology, a widely-touted digital innovation program that can be accessed by all guests on board. This technology uses the latest innovations to customize the onboard experience. The program can assist in trip planning and provide travel-related details and security.
Families will enjoy the vast array of family entertainment options as well, making a voyage on this ship a once-in-a-lifetime experience. The cruise line’s alignment with LEGO Group and DOREMI Studio Lounge will make family-oriented travel even more exciting. Children will be able to interact with technology in the DOREMI Tech Lab.
Early bookings on the cruise ship will receive an additional 5% discount until October 31, 2017.
