Oceania Allura marks a bold new chapter for Oceania Cruises as the brand’s eighth ship and the second in the acclaimed Allura Class. Delivered in July 2025 at the Fincantieri shipyard in Genoa, the 1,200-guest vessel builds upon the company’s commitment to immersive destination experiences and exceptional onboard living. Measuring 804 feet in length and over 68,000 gross tons, Oceania Allura blends refined design, personalized service, and a distinctive culinary focus, elevating the line’s reputation as a leader in the world of small-ship luxury.
A New Standard for Boutique Cruising
From the outset, Oceania Allura was conceived to deliver a more personalized cruise experience. With an industry-leading staff-to-guest ratio—two crew members for every three guests—and an impressive chef-to-guest ratio of one for every eight, the ship ensures attentive service and world-class cuisine at every turn. Half of the crew are dedicated to culinary operations, underscoring Oceania Cruises’ devotion to food as an essential part of travel.
Revolutionizing Onboard Dining
Aboard Oceania Allura, the brand’s “Finest Cuisine at Sea” philosophy is expressed through new and reimagined dining venues. Among the highlights is the introduction of a Crêperie, a first for the fleet, offering authentic French crêpes, Belgian and bubble waffles, and indulgent Italian ice cream sundaes. This innovation is complemented by the much-anticipated return of Jacques, the signature French restaurant named for culinary legend Jacques Pépin. Guests will find reinterpreted classics like duck à l’orange with Grand Marnier and creative tableside experiences such as hand-cut beef tartare.
Culinary discovery continues at Red Ginger, where a collection of Japanese-Peruvian fusion dishes joins the menu, showcasing Nikkei cuisine with inventive plates like tuna ceviche with leche de tigre and braised short rib with lomo saltado. The Grand Dining Room offers more than 270 new recipes curated by Master Chefs Alexis Quaretti and Eric Barale, including an expanded breakfast menu featuring unique takes on Eggs Benedict.
Enrichment extends to beverage programs as well. The debut of the Gerard Bertrand Wine Pairing Luncheon brings a curated journey through acclaimed French wines, each paired with dishes that enhance the character of the vintages. This new standard in wine pairing is poised to become a signature offering across the fleet.
A New Approach to Enrichment and Leisure
Oceania Allura introduces innovative spaces designed for relaxation and learning. The Library, now located near the Horizons Lounge on Deck 14, features expansive sea views, plush furnishings, and a curated selection of books, creating a haven for quiet reflection. Just steps away is the all-new LYNC Digital Center, powered by Starlink® WiFi. Here, guests can join complimentary workshops covering digital photography, social media, and videography, all led by expert Digital Concierges in small-group settings.
Wellness, culture, and entertainment also receive a fresh focus. The ship’s enrichment program includes hands-on cooking classes, wine tastings, and lectures, all tailored for a sophisticated audience seeking a deeper connection to the destinations visited.
Setting Sail on Oceania Allura’s Inaugural Voyages
Oceania Allura’s inaugural season will span 26 unique voyages to 92 destinations, including the Mediterranean, Caribbean, and the scenic coastlines of Canada and New England. The maiden journey departs Trieste, Italy, for Athens, Greece, on July 18, 2025, with a festive christening scheduled for Miami in November. The ceremony will break tradition, featuring renowned alumni from Food & Wine magazine’s Best New Chefs as godparents, highlighting the brand’s ongoing dedication to the culinary arts.
Looking to the Future
Oceania Cruises continues to invest in its vision for small-ship luxury with the upcoming introduction of the Sonata Class. Oceania Allura will be followed by Oceania Sonata in 2027 and Oceania Arietta in 2029. Two additional Sonata Class ships have now been confirmed for delivery in 2032 and 2035, representing a new era of innovation and guest-centric design. Each Sonata Class ship will host around 1,390 guests and offer even more space and amenities. With Oceania Allura setting a new standard in boutique cruising, Oceania Cruises reaffirms its leadership in culinary excellence, service, and guest enrichment, while charting an exciting course for the future of luxury travel at sea.
