Allure of the Seas Refurbishment Emerges from Drydock with Exciting New Amenities

CManicBy CManicMay 25, 2015
Allure of the Seas refurbishment

Allure of the Seas, Royal Caribbean International, has just come out of an 18-day dry-dock emerging with renovations in the form of new restaurants and ten new suites. Dining features of Allure of the Seas’ establishments include the Coastal Kitchen, which is an exclusive restaurant designed for suite guests. The eatery showcases California entrees and Mediterranean cuisine.

The Savor Tanqueray & Tequila Bar is a new Mexican restaurant that features Old World and contemporary dishes, including the restaurant’s specialty, hand-made guacamole at tableside. Tequilas, Mexican beers, sangrias and margaritas are the featured beverages.

The Allure of the Seas refurbishment will also feature the restaurant, Izumi Hibachi & Sushi, which offers a full teppanyaki menu and fresh sashimi and sushi.

The ship’s new onboard experiences also include the addition of some exciting boutiques, including Michael Kors, Kate Spade New York, and a Coach Fine leather shop that offers duty-free shopping. Two Royal suites, two Royal family suites and six grand suite accommodations are included among the added rooms.

The remodeled vessel will be based in Barcelona for the first full Oasis-class European season and return, in November 2015, to Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Before docking in Ft. Lauderdale, summer cruise guests will be able to participate in 7-night Mediterranean cruises from Barcelona and enjoy stops in must-see European cities like Marseilles, Pisa (Florence), Naples and Rome (Civitavecchia). Cruise itineraries starting in November will feature 7-night excursions to the East and West Caribbean from the ship’s home port in Ft. Lauderdale.

Do you want to cruise Europe or the Caribbean? This is the ideal time to book a reservation on this exciting and renovated ship and make your travel plans today.
