A major multi-million dollar dry dock has been announced for the Carnival Fascination. Food and beverage alternatives will be added from February 4th through the 17th, 2018. The Carnival Fascination refurbishment will take place in Freeport, the Bahamas.
The ship will then resume its seven-day cruise schedule in the southern Caribbean, homeporting in San Juan, Puerto Rico on February 18, 2017. Presently, the ship is being used by the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) to support relief work in St. Croix.
The new food and beverage offerings include the addition of such popular places as Guy’s Burger Joint, the Alchemy Bar, the Bonsai Sushi Express, the BlueIguana Cantina, and the BlueIguana Tequila Bar. All the new food and beverage options are meant to enhance such attractions as the Punchliner Comedy Club, the ship’s WaterWorks aqua theme park, and Playlist Productions entertainment.
Therefore, the Carnival Fascination Refurbishment promises to add just that much more fun to taking a cruise to the Caribbean. The year-round itinerary followed by the ship will highlight weekly sailings to five islands in the Caribbean. These islands include Barbados, St. Lucia, St. Kitts, St. Maarten, and St. Thomas.
The addition of the food and beverage sites will allow cruise guests to enjoy complimentary foods and drinks poolside as well as sample such cuisines as sushi, burgers, and homemade tacos on board. Reservations are now being accepted for the 7 day Caribbean holidays.
