Royal Caribbean International: Where Almost Everything is Possible
With 24 ships in its fleet, Royal Caribbean International (RCI) is one of the biggest cruise lines on the market. Considered as one of the most popular cruise companies, Royal Caribbean provides vacations for guests who want a slightly upscale experience, complete with amenities, good dining and exciting itineraries.
Amazing Itineraries
Sailing year-round to more than 300 destinations in Europe, the Caribbean, the Bahamas, Bermuda, Alaska, Asia and the South Pacific, Royal Caribbean is one of the most iconic cruise lines in the world.
RCI also holds the distinction of owning the world’s largest cruise ships, the latest, Symphony of the Seas, which can accommodate nearly 7,000 passengers, sails year-round from both Europe and the Caribbean. The company has at least five more ships on order, scheduled for release between 2022 and 2026.
Royal Caribbean International recently refurbished several ships, calling the new ships “Royal Amplified.” These ships feature innovations like bionic bartenders, the fastest Internet at sea, glow in the dark laser tag, the largest waterslide at sea and all-new dining venues for every taste bud. The cruise line also boasts two of its own private islands in the Caribbean – Perfect Day at CocoCay in the Bahamas and Labadee in Haiti. Both islands feature thrilling activities, included dining and private beachfront.
Onboard Experiences
Royal Caribbean International is definitely the cruise line for the adventure seeker. The cruise line has consistently impressed guests with its own unique attractions – Flow Rider surfing simulator, iFly indoor skydiving, rock climbing walls, two-story gaming pavilions, AquaTheater, indoor carousels, Bionic Bar – the robotic bartenders, virtual balconies, the North Star 360 degree viewing pod and bumper cars at sea.
The biggest wow factors, however, happen on the Oasis-class ships – the largest ones in the fleet. These ships have been built with seven themed zones called neighborhoods – the popular neighborhood Central Park features interior balconies with view of an actual simulated onboard park, complete with trees, benches and a fountain. Other neighborhoods include Boardwalk, the Royal Promenade, Vitality at Sea Spa and Fitness Center, Entertainment Place and Youth Zone. Royal Caribbean also has some of the most unique staterooms at sea, including two-story loft suites with balconies that can accommodate up to 20 and a family suite complete with an indoor sliding board.
Scrumptious Dining Options
Where Royal Caribbean International really shines is in its cuisine. All of its ships have the same rotation of classic included eateries – Main Dining Room, Windjammer Cafe, Coastal Kitchen, Park Cafe, Dog House and Solarium Bistro Restaurant, while guests can also choose from specialty dining at Giovanni’s Italian Kitchen, Izumi Hibachi and Sushi, Wonderland and Johnny Rockets for an added fee.
Royal Caribbean cruise line is always a great choice, and continues to deliver adventure across to thousands of guests each year.
