Although the 2016 J Spring Fashion Show promises to showcase the latest in haute couture by such fashion talents as Syeda Amera, Begitta and Chotronette, the major show-stopper will be the venue for the fashion event. Jessica Minh Anh, a show producer and model, is turning the Costa Luminosa’s sun deck into a fashion model catwalk for the scheduled show.
The newest runway by the world-renowned catwalk creator will be Fashion Central during the ship’s Around-the-World cruise itinerary. While the ship stops off in Sydney, the deck-turned-catwalk will be set against the beautiful backdrop of the Sydney Harbour Bridge.
Jessica Minh Anh has already transformed such locations as London’s Tower Bridge, Paris’s Eiffel Tower and the Grand Canyon Skywalk into impressive runway locations for connoisseurs of fashion. The Grand Canyon Skywalk event was held 4,000 feet over the Colorado River.
The catwalk design expert is also credited with producing “catwalks on water” on the Hudson River in New York and Seine River in Paris. The cruise ship runway designed by Anh will be the first of its kind to be built for a fashion revue in the middle of the sea. Cruise guests will now be able to experience exquisite fashions and jewelry designs while on a cruise holiday.
